The Mushroom Hearts roller brings a sprinkle of whimsy to your clay creations—pure fun in every roll! This roller features a fun mushroom-and-heart motif, perfect for adding a cheerful touch to your designs.

With this order, you have a few exciting options! Choose the "innie" style, which presses the design into the clay for a recessed pattern, or go with the "outie", which presses the background into the clay, leaving the design raised. Can't decide? You can also purchase both to enjoy the full creative range. The photo shows the "innie" style.

Note: The PCP Texture Roller Handle (sold separately) is compatible with both rollers but the ends won't screw together. You could choose the longer handle to accommodate this size if you prefer. 

This roller is 1.25" x 4". It is slightly larger than other rollers sold at Poly Clay Play.

How to Use Your Texture Roller:

1. Prep Your Clay: Roll a sheet of clay flat and place it on a tile or other baking surface. Smooth out any air bubbles underneath.

2. Apply a Release Agent: Spray your favorite release agent directly onto the roller—Armor All works great!

3. Create the Texture: Lay the roller on the clay and apply gentle, even pressure as you roll to achieve a crisp impression.

4. Alternative Methods:

   • Place cling wrap over the clay before rolling to prevent sticking. This may slightly alter the design, so experiment to find your favorite look.

   • Lightly dust the clay with cornstarch before rolling for a clean release and minimal distortion.

Texture rollers work great for making an impression in your favorite kind of clay!  Click and read this great article by Ginger at The Blue Bottle Tree to learn about release agents.  Wash with soapy water and dry after use and they will last indefinitely! Colors may vary. The roller is not dishwasher safe.
