Original Sculpey
| America's original oven-bake clay. Sculpey is soft and pliable, works and feels like ceramic clay, but will not dry out when exposed to air. Shape it into your desired form and bake according to package instructions. Once cool, it can be sanded, drilled, carved, and painted with water-based acrylics or Sculpey brand glaze. Ideal for sculpture and children's projects. Non-toxic. Recommended for ages 6 and over. |

A really cool effect is created when you mix it with Pardo Jewellery Clay! Note: I recommend you mix this clay with a stronger clay and use it as a base for projects when you don't want to use a lot of your more expensive clays. It is not a strong clay but I have used it successfully for items that won't be exposed to constant use such as Village Houses. Adding other clays strengthens it, the more you add the stronger it is. It is also great when you are using a form that will support your clay. |
