Start by creating an impression using the stamp, then position the cutter over the design to trim it out, or alternatively, tailor the design creatively to complement your project. Be sure to use a release agent to prevent clay from sticking to the set!
This is excellent for cutting your preferred type of clay! To learn about release agents, read the informative article by Ginger at The Blue Bottle Tree. Armor All, baby powder or cornstarch is my recommendation. If you wash them with soapy water and dry them after each use, they should last indefinitely.
