Please note: In order to get the most "see-through" effect, you have to make the clay very thin. Transparent Translucent is the only color above that looks as close to transparent as possible. Here is the definition comparison of Translucent vs. Transparent:
Glass, for example, is transparent to all visible light. Translucent objects allow some light to travel through them. Materials like frosted glass and some plastics are called translucent. When light strikes translucent materials, only some of the light passes through them.
Ginger Davis Allman - The Blue Bottle Tree - did extensive comparison testing with the different brands of translucent clays. Click to read her findings here and here.
Pardo Translucent is claimed by many artists to be the strongest and clearest, whitest translucent available.

Pardo Translucent
This is the most clear translucent clay I have ever worked with. Some people say it is hard to condition but as long as you slice it thin, and run it through on the thinnest setting of your machine, it will condition fine. If total transparency is what you are looking for, this is your clay! I love it and will continue to use it often.

Pardo Translucent Art Clay
I had always bought Premo clay but learned about Pardo recently. This clay is really nice to work with and is actually more translucent than Premo. Would recommend this to my friends.

Pardo translucent
I don't know what the problem is that people fuss about this clay being hard to work with.I had no problem conditioning it. Of course, the weather being hotter than a you know what has helped a lot with working with it. I have some pieces ready to pop in the oven, just waiting for it to cool off a little.

Hard to condition
Very clear and no yellowing. I had a hard time conditioning it. It was a bit crumbly. It doesn't have the stretch that regular Premo has. I'm new with this so didnt know what to expect. I love the baked results. I think I just need more practice. Will buy again.

Great translucency
This clay has fantastic translucency if baked a little higher than the temperature recommended on the package. (I was baking at 300 F for 25 minutes with the best results of any of my tests.) The only complaint is the clay is extremely firm and needs quite a bit of conditioning. I wish I hadn't had to condition it so much before being able to use it easily.

Pardo Art Clay Translucent
This is, hands down, the best translucent poly clay out there, IMHO. It is easy to work in your hands, and it bakes clearer than any of the other clays. I am so glad that this store carries this product.

I' m in love
I love this clay it was so nice and easy to work with when it arrived. Plus the shipping was fast.

Best translucent ever
It combines exceptional translucency with extreme resilience and flexibility. You can make things as thin as paper out of it, and they'd still not break. It buffs to the best shine I've gotten from buffing a clay ever. Exceptional for flowers, imitation gemstones and transparency effects.
