Description
Offering an advanced, finely-pigmented formula, Extreme Sheen is a bright, water-based, acrylic metallic paint. Offered in a variety of trendy as well as classic colors, you are guaranteed a uniform, metallic shimmer from the ultra-fine, reflective pigments. Durable finish, non-toxic with soap and water clean-up.
How to Use Extreme Sheen
Shake well. Apply using a soft brush or roller. On a smooth/sealed surface, first apply a basecoat or primer or sand lightly for better coverage. Sand lightly between coats to achieve the highest metallic sheen. Apply coats as needed to achieve metallic finishes ranging from semi-transparent to solid. Soap and water clean up.
Tips for Extreme Sheen
Sand between coats for an ultra-smooth finish.
For a textured look, use a high-density foam roller instead of a brush.
Clean stencils quickly before paint dries.
No primer or sealer is needed before painting or to protect the finish afterwards.
Do not add Drying Time Extender, Fabric Medium, or any other medium to any Extreme Sheen. It can lessen the intensity of the metallic finish. Dilute with water when needed.
Patent Pending Reflective Technology
Extreme Sheen’s patent pending formula offers the most advanced technology on the market.
DecoArt’s NEW Metallic Formula: ALL light is reflected by aligned particles.
Current Metallic Formulas on the Market: Reflection lost due to unaligned particles.
It works beautifully on polymer clay. Check out the video below.
