Knead, shape and bake! Professional users appreciate the high quality of this long- established modeling clay.
The pure pigments offer exact blending results and provides exceptional dimensional stability thereby enabling sophisticated techniques.
Whether for modelling techniques like mokume gane and Skinner blend or for filigree canes with a kaleidoscope or millefiori pattern: FIMO professional is the ideal material for detailed works of art and sophisticated patterns. FIMO professional's core range comprises 24 colours, but that's not all: The newly developed FIMO professional ‘True Colours’ ensure perfect blending results.
The FIMO professional colour mixing system is based on seven colours: The five True Colours and black and white. These make it possible to create a rainbow spectrum of a total of 168 harmonising shades. All of which are blended using the five True Colours and then gradated using either black or white. Each and every colour is defined by an exact mixing formula.
To achieve the desired shade, the two True Colours to be blended need to be rolled out to two uniformly thick sheets in the clay machine. Next, a shaped cutter is used to cut pieces out of the individual sheets in line with the mixing formula. These are then kneaded together until a uniform colour is achieved.

All the colors!
Fimo Professional True Colour system is perfect for lovers of color theory and blending. With 7 colors over 175 colors from tints to shades can be created. This isn't for anyone who wants instant gratification. It takes a bit of time to condition and blend each color, but I find it very relaxing. Fimo pro is definitely one of the crumbly clays. Yellow is the hardest for some reason and benefits from a bit of clay softener. Originally these were 3oz packages in Europe and if you want enough to make a decent amount of any color I recommend buying 3 (or 6oz) of each core color except for yellow (buy 4) and black (buy 2). Fimo works well with premo! backing or cores to save $$, just do not blend the two. I accidentally blended black premo with black Fimo and it became incredibly soft and sticky requiring a significant leeching. This is a great warm weather clay. It is currently July in NC during a heatwave and I am not having problems even in my unairconditioned studio. I highly recommend this brand.
