Please note: In order to get the most "see-through" effect, you have to make the clay very thin.  Transparent Translucent is the only color above that looks as close to transparent as possible.  Here is the definition comparison of Translucent vs. Transparent:

Glass, for example, is transparent to all visible light. Translucent objects allow some light to travel through them. Materials like frosted glass and some plastics are called translucent. When light strikes translucent materials, only some of the light passes through them.

Ginger Davis Allman - The Blue Bottle Tree - did extensive comparison testing with the different brands of translucent clays. Click to read her findings here and here.

Pardo Translucent is claimed by many artists to be the strongest and clearest, whitest translucent available.

"It’s easy to assume that your clay has been partially cured or is old. But hold on! There is a trick to it. Pardo is not like other brands of polymer clay. Here’s how to condition Pardo Translucent Art Clay."

Here are some conditioning tips:

" Fimo Professional, Cernit, and Pardo are naturally crumbly but this goes away with conditioning."

If you have questions about conditioning Pardo, click Videos and take a look at the short video.  Please don't assume it is bad clay!

"Plaquing, also known as mooning, is a pattern of little pockets of air that develop inside of some brands of polymer clay as it cures."

    Pardo translucent

Nice clay, stayed white - didn't turn yellow. A real pain in the you-know-where to condition, but really worth all the effort. Will likely buy more at some point . . .

I'm in love with the Pardo translucent clays. They are exactly what I needed for my pieces and as of now, everyone that has seen a piece that I used the trans on are fully impressed. I have sold every piece I've used the Pardo on.

    Pardo review

Pardo is the best clay I have ever use to make gemstones with because it is the most clear translucent. This was my first pardo experience but I will definitely be purchasing more pardo.

This is the first time I used this clay. It is really transparent when rolled out very thin. I like it!!!

    Pardo Translucent

This is the most clear translucent clay I have ever worked with. Some people say it is hard to condition but as long as you slice it thin, and run it through on the thinnest setting of your machine, it will condition fine. If total transparency is what you are looking for, this is your clay! I love it and will continue to use it often.
