"Winter Dragonland"

Sophie and I decided to be brave and tromp around out in the melting snow. What a mess! You never know from one step to another if you will be knee deep or just an inch or two.

The warmer temperatures of winter are slowly beginning to melt off the deep snows and creatures are starting to stir. Imagine our surprise when we stumbled upon a little frozen pond that was home to a mother and baby water dragon. Mother kept her eye on baby very closely and we could only get so close before they dove back under the ice. Gradually they came back up and we were privileged to watch as they played.

The cold finally began to climb up our feet and into our bones so we had to head home. As we walked home, memories of watching the two play stayed in my mind. Now I can only wonder what new things we will find with Spring just around the corner.

In this class you will make a mother and baby ice/sea dragon. The horns and some embellishments are made to look like ice without using stinky resin! There are over 60 photos with step by step instructions for completing your own "Winter Dragonland".

Note about selling your creations made as a result of the instructions provided:

It would be greatly appreciated if you make a reference to Sally Golubosky and Poly Clay Play if you were inspired by these instructions.

The following is how Sally feels about it…

Being the writer of the tutorial I will tell you and any others up front...Go for it!!! I wish you much success with any you make and may they line your pockets with gold...OK being optimistic but what the heck! If I was worried about others "copying" my work I wouldn't put it out there in step-by-step photos and instructions of how to make them.

Have fun with the tutorial and sell away!

Sally
