Premo Sculpey is an artist’s dream come true! After conditioning, this clay is soft enough to blend easily but firm enough to hold fine detail and for specialized techniques. It’s perfect for caning, mokume gane and mica shift. Because Premo retains flexibility, the finished product remains very strong and durable. It is a durable clay, ideal for jewelry, home décor and functional items we use every day.
Premo comes in 24 densely saturated colors and can be mixed to create custom colors. Based on an artist’s palette the colors, intense on their own, can also be blended for custom creations. This combination of strength and beauty is easily transferred to any project you have in mind. Whether creating millefiore beads and canes, delicate scrapbook pages, faux semi-precious stones or glass adornments, Premo Sculpey is the clay to use.
Premo Sculpey is available in 2 ounce packages and select colors are available in one pound and 8 oz. bars. Those colors available in one pounds bars are White, Black, Burnt Umber, Beige, Ecru, Green, Cadmium Red Hue, Purple, Ultramarine Blue Hue and Cadmium Yellow Hue. The 8 oz. bars come in White and Black.
Bake at 275 °F (130 °C) for 30 minutes per 1/4 in (6 mm) thickness. DO NOT MICROWAVE. Baking should be completed by an adult. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME.

Pleasantly surprised!
To be honest, i was worried about buying this clay in particular because the only other time Ive used it, it was dry, crumbly,and hard to work with and was yellow before and after baking. But the clay i ordered from here arrived soft, clear without any hint of yellow. And it baked so transparent, even with color added. It really changed my mind about opal clay and with def be ordering more!
