The first time you use them, you will notice little fibers flying about.  Here is a note I received from a customer that is very happy with them:

I just wanted to quickly let you know that I just used the buffing wheel again & it was about 98% better this time. It didn't let out many fibers at all! So, I wanted to tell you in case you ever end up getting questions like mine about them in the future, you can reassure your customers that although they're a little difficult to deal with at first (because of all the little fibers) it does seem to only happen that 1st time you use them. And wow, they really work great. The bracelet I just buffed came out so beautifully shiny, I'm so happy about that. I've been trying to achieve that effect for over a year now!

    Great Find!

I've tried many different types of buffing heads on my Dreml. This is the best I've tried by far. Used at the lowest speed, it brings up a nice shine and doesn't damage the surface of the clay in the slightest.

These buffing shanks are excellent for a no-varnish and no-wax shine! I used these with cabochons straight out of Sculpey's Cab mold, no pre-sanding, and definitely loved how quickly they polished cabochons with my Dremel at the 15k rpm setting. The initial fluff-up was brief, barely 5 seconds. 2 cabochons in and the wool had rounded nicely, fluffing up and seemed to achieve an even glossier finish. Pleasant experience for my first time ever buffing anything and new Dremel user. Very beginner friendly.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I’m kicking my myself for waiting so long to get them. I have so many polymer clay beads that were thrown in a bowl never to be seen again, until I got my Wool Polishing Heads. I use a dremel with a flex shaft. So easy! Some old beads have a new life!

These little wool buffers polish to a perfect shine. Leaves a smooth finish in a fraction of the time that it takes to hand buff.

These left a glass like shine on the simulated gemstones I made from Premo. At first, they kick out a bit of "fluff" but I have done about 20 stones with just one and I think I can get another 10 to 20 before replacing. I use my dremel in a clamp and slower speed, need to keep a good grip but made my nails shine too on the smaller ones. I sand first with several grits of wet automotive sandpaper. These have worked so well, I can get away with less sanding and get the same amount of shine.
