Cheer a Child Challenge

You can read an article in the February 2008 issue of Pack-O-Fun magazine. It is all about a young woman, Kaitlyn Chana, who founded an organization, Love Letters: Random Cards of Kindness, Inc., to cheer children facing surgery, treatments or other ailments.

Their mission statement says it all...

Mission Statement:

Our goal is to create positive and inspirational homemade cards for children with life-threatening illnesses. We also want to inspire others to establish chapters in their hometowns.

Poly Clay Play has started this online chapter for this wonderful cause! Get your clay buddies together and spend a few hours to help cheer a child, actually many children!

Make as many polymer clay embellished cards as you like and send them to me.

I will check to make sure they meet the guidelines and when we have met our goal, I will send them on to Love Letters, Inc.

The main thing to know about adding embellishments to cards it that they must be glued on with a strong glue so they don't become dislodged during mailing and handling.
